Cement-based materials continuously release alkaline substances (such as calcium hydroxide) during curing and drying. When these come into contact with water, they migrate to the surface, forming white crystals known as "efflorescence." This not only affects aesthetics but also damages the topcoat film, causing peeling and flaking. Meanwhile, residual moisture inside the wall or external humidity infiltration can lead to coating blistering, mildew growth, and accelerated migration of alkaline substances. Triple-Action Mechanism:

Highly Effective Alkali Resistance & Sealing: Utilizing a unique formula of high-molecular-weight polymer emulsions and densifying agents, the product forms a dense, tough, yet breathable film on the substrate surface. This film effectively seals and isolates alkaline substances and soluble salts within the wall, preventing their migration to the surface. This fundamentally eliminates efflorescence and protects the topcoat from chemical attack.

Superior Moisture Barrier: The primer film exhibits excellent hydrophobicity and low surface tension, effectively blocking the intrusion of external liquid water and moisture vapor, significantly reducing the water absorption rate of the substrate. Simultaneously, its micro-porous structure allows water vapor from inside the wall to escape slowly (breathability), preventing film blistering caused by vapor pressure, thus achieving "breathable" damp-proofing.

Powerful Substrate Consolidation: The emulsion particles deeply penetrate the capillaries and micro-cracks of the substrate. Upon cross-linking and curing, they significantly enhance the hardness, density, and overall strength of the substrate. For loose, powdery old walls or putty layers, it provides excellent consolidation, binding loose particles into a solid whole, creating a firm, smooth, and stable base for topcoats.

Problem Wall Repair: Walls already showing signs of slight efflorescence, dampness, or powdering. After cleaning the affected surface, this primer is essential for sealing and consolidation before redecoration.

Application Guide & Precautions

Substrate Preparation:

Surface must be sound, level, dry, clean, free of oil, dust, and loose material.

New walls require sufficient curing (generally over 28 days at normal temperature), ensuring pH value is below 10 and moisture content below 10%.

For efflorescence areas, thoroughly remove white deposits with a stiff brush or scraper. Neutralize by washing with a diluted acid solution (e.g., 5% oxalic acid solution), then rinse with clean water and allow to dry completely.

Severely powdery old walls should have loose layers scraped off, treated with a consolidator, or re-plastered with putty.

Stirring & Dilution:

Stir thoroughly after opening.

Normally requires no dilution and can be applied directly. Under extremely dry conditions or on highly absorbent substrates, a small amount of clean water (recommended not exceeding 5% by volume) may be added to improve workability. Do not over-dilute.

Application:

Apply using a high-quality roller or brush. Roller is more efficient for large areas.

Apply 1-2 coats. Ensure the first coat is completely dry (typically 2-4 hours, depending on temperature and humidity) before applying the second.

Apply evenly, avoiding misses and runs. Theoretical coverage: approximately 10-12 sqm per liter per coat (actual coverage varies with substrate roughness and absorbency).

Drying & Recoat Times:

Touch dry: 30-60 minutes (25°C, 50% RH).

Hard dry: 2-4 hours.

Full cure: 24 hours.

Recoat interval: Minimum 2-4 hours. Ensure primer is fully dry before proceeding with putty application or topcoat painting.

Tool Cleaning: Clean tools immediately after use with water.

Important Precautions:

Safety Warnings:

Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Ensure adequate ventilation during application.

Avoid contact with eyes and skin. In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Wash skin with soap and water.

Do not ingest.

Application Conditions:

Ambient temperature during application and drying should be between 5°C and 35°C, with relative humidity below 85%. Avoid outdoor application in rainy, snowy, or windy conditions.

Excessively low substrate/air temperature or high humidity will severely affect drying, film formation, and final performance.

Storage:

Store in a cool, dry place at 5°C-35°C. Protect from frost and direct sunlight.

Keep container tightly sealed when not in use.

Shelf life is typically 24 months (check specific date on product label).

Special Notes:

This product is a primer and must NOT be used as a final topcoat. A compatible topcoat must be applied to achieve complete decorative and protective results.

For special substrates (e.g., wood, metal, old paint), conduct compatibility and adhesion tests first.

If the wall has severe structural water leakage, this must be repaired by waterproofing engineering before using this product.

Always conduct a test application on a small, inconspicuous area before large-scale use to confirm suitability and results.
